Re-visting Island of the Gods

The island of Bali is part of the Republic of Indonesia and is approximately located in the South. Flying time from Kuala Lumpur takes about 3 hours.
Bali's climate, flora and fauna are quite similar to its much larger neighbor (Indonesia or Malaysia).The island is rather famous for its beautiful landscape and chain of active & non active volcanoes and beaches. I am basically a hot climate person, as such Bali’ climate fits me rite. Generally, from December to March, the West monsoon can bring showers and high humidity, but usually days are sunny and the rains start during the night and pass quickly. From June to September the humidity is low, and it can be quite cool in the evenings. During this time of the year, you'll have hardly any rain in the coastal areas.
Bali's population consists of a majority of Hindus and Muslims. You may notice when you arrived in this island it will be a little pack with foreigners - like me. So basically the environment will make you feel like home.
Bali has a couple of tourist/sight seeing/shopping area such as Denpasar, Ubud and Kuta, Jimbaran, Tuban, and Legian, Seminyak, Sanur, and Nusa Dua which are spread in all directions. My duration here unfortunately could not cover much. As such a week or two would be appropriate I think.
The Balinese are friendly down to earth people. They are also spiritually inclined with their Gods which have been an important part of their daily life.
Other than that just watch out Bali’s magic in this island which will get to you over & over again until you stay there for the rest of your life.

2nd Sept local papers

It was supposed to be twice the fun when you go back to re-visit certain destinations. Why? well, you get to walk familiar streets, buy same ole stuff, eat the same delicious food, see the same beautiful people, witness the same respectful culture and perhaps know the place a little more.
Sometimes - just sometimes it won’t turn out the way you wanted. Wouldn't it !

Expect the unexpected – which never came to mind. My holiday was rather ruined at the 2nd day I arrived in this pleasant place on earth. All plans were disengaged due to some idiot trying to prove something to the world. Urgh !!! F&%# !

The crime scene

The scene was cordon off from the public. But from the barricaded area, it was rather near for those who got 1st seat. In front of me were hundreds of people gathering to see the crime site. Everybody that were there are just ‘quite’. Even when they talk - they were whispering at each other. Sad or terrified?

What’s amusing is from person to person, the stories are different. But close enough to visualize what did happen.

The question why they did – was never answered even when they did it the 1st time. So be it and blessed those who departed from the world.

Island of the Gods

Bali is one of the thousand island in Indonesia.
Denpasar, where you embark before going to Bali, is the capital city of Bali province.
The climate is quite hot even at some nights and of course it doesn't snow over here (ha ha ha).
Shopping over here like in Kuta, Legian, Nusa Dua, etc you can expext swim wear, sarong, handicraft, leather goods and much more.
Safety - since the bombing I think is never an issuse. there's an monument being built with respect to the viticms and name are dispaly on the monuments. Sad... but tru. Nevertheless, life goes on in bali.
