I have been to Bangkok once before, way before I discovered VT. I was on a buisness trip and how unfortunate at that time - for not discovering the much talk about 'city of angles'. So was it angelic ?? it's all depends ; )
As the local papers said it should come to no great suprise that Thai is the most useful of mainland Southeast Asia languages, when it comes to travelling and working in the region.
I have heard rather quite a number or language myself but Thai as far as i know is so pretty 'poilte'. As soon as they speak my heart melts....hmmm...
This Kingdom's language is heard from Thai travellers and buisness people which travel across boders and has gained knowledge in neighbouring countries, especially Laos & Cambodia.
Thai now rank 3rd behind English & Japanese. So will it be worth learning the language? go figure, if you wanna inject some politeness in your life.
My visit did not concluded the way it supposed to be. There's bound to be screw ups. Hahahah ! thinking about it - it was all about fun and getting out from it.
I will still go back for sure !!!. May the force be with you travellers. |
