"It's a United Nation out here !!" airasia's Profile

In the UAE...

Guys, I am away from home. A little far away from home this time. Out from my comfort zone now. Away are those endless priated DVD's, reliable wheels, fav couch, yummy glorious home cook food, slumber bed, silly belly & colourful friends & relatives, etc.

How eff-ing sad can that be? Not that I haven't been out. But it's really far out this time around. I am sort of alone now . I am a big man with peanut brain. Out like the old school show ‘Have gun will travel’. How bad can it get? Not bad indeed. Every dude will surely make it.

Ever notice each travel enable you a chance to re-model yourself as some dude suggest here. I am nobody. No fame, no race, no identity & no dignity. So be Jekyll or Hyde whichever is applicable.

There is a jungle out there! One fine day I said to myself as I have not really experience season changed. Winter is cool (aveg 15degC) and summer is freaking hot. UAE is notorious about people suffering the heat. I mean not that kind of ‘heat’ but simply the weather. Yeah, in summer we talk & talk about the heat all day long. Even just by talking, we are already hot & sweaty!

Apparently, I am surviving. But being away brings heart rending moments. Family is away. Close crazy friends are away too. Insanity once in a while takes over you. Then you shut everyone around you. Then later, you appear nice & pleasant back again. Weird but it happens to some.

Friends or Company - Make new ones here! A nudge in my thick skull by some of my egoistic colleague. It’s easier said than done. It’s a ‘United Nation’ of people here. Almost all walks of lovely people here. And what’s funny is – it is not THAT easy to make friends. Why? Zzzzz....it’s a long and winding story actually.

Although, a simple gesture such as ‘Hi’, ‘How are you?’ are constantly being exchanged here. Still that’s not enough to make friends. Whatever is it – it’s all good I think.

Well, I am still learning in this sandy & artificial place with no any sort of resources. I hope to learn & get attune myself as time goes by. If not, I might just lose my mind somewhere along the line.

But seriously, it’s not that bad at all. It’s all in the freaking mind. So let’s move on.

4th Java Jazz Festival & Visit Indonesia 2008

After months of starvation & begging on the streets I managed to get my traveling bags to Jakarta once again.

As usual JJF was the highlight of my trip and of course the outcome was quite an improvement from last years festivals.

As for Jakarta, this hazy city is pretty much the same to me even though it is a tourist visiting year for Indonesia.

Anyhow, almost everything went as planned and as I joint down fuzzy memories, i am already looking forward for JAKARTA in 2009.

Gearing towards 2010 as 2009 plans didn't happen...

I JUST... LUV BALI !

Sawadee Welcome to the city of Angles - Bangkok.
So come check out my encounters with 'angles' in the city. And yes ! it's freaking hotter than Malaysia. Everything & everybody is so HOT there !!!.

Back from the coast (2005)

Yeah guys. Just got back from a short beach life. And yes, I survived. No huge wave. Geezzz...

Indeed it's a white sand beach combined with relaxed atmosphere that make this a must for divers, snokellers and thoese just wanting somewhere to break away.

And now I am broke and broken - I don't wanna go back to work !!!!

Smitten by life little pleasure..

VT Quotes I learned :

People’s emotions are rarely put into words; far more often they expressed through other indication. The key to be aware of another’s feelings is in the ability to read non-verbal channels – tone of voice, gesture, facial expression, and the like…please forgive me I can’t really see you ; )

where I lay my hat and rest...

This is where I call it 'home'. Nothing compares to it. I'm sure everybody would agree.

Backyard of the Backyard..

Now this is my neighbours backyard. I just wonder why I had taken this pict ? Well nothing like a good back I suppose.

It took me a couple of week to find all photo avaiable to include here. Just so happens that all photo are taken with a conventional camera, as such scanning needs to be done. Well for thoese who are keen to know my developments, I have insert some pict at places I have venture.

Thanks for taking your time going thru's this.*
