One of the places that is worth going to is themarket place outside the chuch in the centre of the city.You can buy an amazing variety of things there.I saw a beautiful ceramic dining room table with chairs that I would have loved to have bought but it was too expensive to ship home.I was able to sample a lot of local food and beer there as well. The Albrecht Durer House museum is worth a visit as is the trip up steep cobblestoned narrow laneways to the castle. Glad you enjoyed your many trips to Germany! The Cuvilliés-Theater in Munich is now closed for repairs (till 2008) but there is a fine new museum ("Doku-Zentrum") in one corner of that huge Congress Hall in Nürnberg. |
