Have always dreamed of going to somewhere that had, palm trees, white sand beaches and well, just the picture postcard type of thing. The 5 nights I spent on Koh Samui with my husband for our 32nd wedding anniversary more or less lived up to the "dream" . We stayed in Lamai at the quiet southern end and our choice of the Samui Park Resort turned out to be quite a good one. Far enough away from the town to be peaceful but close enough to walk in for the bars restaurants and night life. Bit of a trek in the heat so better to get a taxi which was no problem as the road ran along the back of the resort. Didn't do much while we were there other than swimming in the beautiful warm sea as it was our time to relax after exploring Bangkok and Chiang Mai. |
