Restaurant Name: Belgium Beer Cafe
One of my favorite spots to chill. This bar is better known as the belgian bar. But it's not just a bar, you can order food too if you're hungry. From lots of choices! Good food menu for an average 'cafe'
Favorite Dish: I must say their seafood waterzooi; seafood with some veges in cream sauce. it is so good i swear! And of course their variety choice of Belgian beers.

Aida Cafe Restaurant Club: Place to chill, and for some quality talk..

Restaurant Name: Aida Cafe Restaurant Club
Aida Café is one of my favorite hangouts in Northbridge. This is a restaurant that serves delicious Egyptian food. But what I love most about this place is the service. The owner and his girlfriend, Desi are really warm and welcoming people. Even when they’re busy they’d still find time to say hi to you. But because my friends and I were regulars, the couple would join us for shisha after dinner and talk about things... It’s a great atmosphere to be here, wonderful Egyptian decors in the restaurant. The restaurant is pretty big. It has a lounge, a main dining area on the right side of the restaurant and a shisha bar on the left side. Shisha is a must if you wanna experience some Arab culture. But that’s not all, if you like to see some belly-dancing, be here on Fridays / Saturdays. The performance starts at 9 pm. So entertaining! Cuz you can join in the fun too =)
Favorite Dish: Fish and rice – irresistible! Looks simple to prepare but there’s something about the rice, tasty with a fresh aroma. Try their Egyptian coffee too.

The Greek Taverna: Greek food!

Restaurant Name: The Greek Taverna
In the heart of Northbridge, The Greek Taverna is a restaurant frequented by locals. There’s alfresco dining which I preferred the most as you get to sit right by the main street of Northbridge. Can get a bit noisy with all the traffic but that’s Northbridge =) Gotta feel the real atmosphere. If this sounds like it’d spoil your appetite then you can always dine in their garden or indoor (necessary during winter). I loved the food here, although I’ve only been here twice. But both experiences were pleasant and their food made my tummy happy =) The staffs were friendly too. I remember one lady at the cashier gave compliments to me.. but I don’t remember what exactly. They have belly-dancing here too on weekends but I must say it’s not as great and authentic as the Egyptian one at Aida. (see my other tip)
Favorite Dish: Okay I had kalamari for starters, and chilli mussels as main course: perfect! Also had wine and Greek coffee. And my friend had some lamb cutlets which he really enjoyed. Should try all their food!

Restaurant Name: Matsuri Japanese Restaurant
Matsuri wasn’t a favorite of mine as the food was very pricey. But I guess the price does justice to the quality of the food. A nice ambience here: huge glass windows that give you the view of Perth’s busy CBD streets, and a very modern setting on the interior that also gives you comfort. One thing I liked about this restaurant is: almost all the staff were (English-speaking) Japanese. You won’t find difficulties in getting description of food with Japanese names as the staffs were very helpful and knew their food and culture. Please make reservations as this place is always always packed!
Favorite Dish: fish ginger, fish teriyaki, sashimi and sake!
