"Sydney" a Sydney Travel Page by hez28

Sydney's the biggest city in Australia. But coming from Malaysia (with Kuala Kumpur as our capital city), Sydney seems small in comparison to KL. However, I liked this place. There's a lot of good restaurants, shopping centres, interesting places to see including the Sydney Opera House. I was more thrilled to see the Sydney Harbour Bridge though, it was so beautiful. Wanted to climb it but the windy weather didn't permit :(

Sydney is also a city that shows how multi-racial Australia is. You see people from every race; Europeans, Arabs, Asians, etc. In fact there's one suburb in the city (Haymarket) that has Asians and only Asians. Surprised me really. I felt like I was in Hong Kong! Not that it's bad or anything.. Twas a nice feeling :-)

I was in awe when I saw the Sydney Harbour Bridge. In general, most people are more attracted to the Sydney Opera House when they visit Sydney. But as for me, this bridge stole my heart away. It looked very strong, very masculine. And I like the fact that it is made of dark-colored steel (like the Eiffel Tower).

During my stay in Sydney I never missed catching a glimpse of this bridge.. it is just so beautiful. So Sydney.
