Exotic Garden Exotic Garden Review

This garden is one of the natural wonders of Europe.Situated on the rock overlooking the sea. The panaroma of the superior platform gives a wonderful sight which extends to Italy and entire principality.
The Exotic Garden is a genuine museum of flora. The most presentative family of the succulent plants is the Cacti originating from America. The first Cacti were imported since the 16th century. Because of the climate (annual average 17) most flowers remain open any time of the year. I visited there in March and it was snowing for short time but many flowers were blossemed.
There is a big cave "La Grotte" with small columns and stalagmites. If you have energy for almost 300 steps, it is worth to see. There is a guided tour every hour.

The Oceanography Museum The Oceanography Museum Review

An imposing buliding constructed on a rock close to the sea. The house was designed by architect Delafortrie and inaugurated in 1910. Prince Albert I was the creator of this museum. He built new research instruments and modernized oceanography techniques by using photography and cinema besides his discoveries in the Atlantic and the Arctic regions.

Great view from Exotic Garden. It takes 1.5-2 hours.
You can have baverages or hot drinks in a small cafe in the Garden. If it is snowing or hailing ( I had those in short time when I was visiting the garden) it is cosy to have hot drinks in this small cafe.
