this little town of 12000 souls is about 40 minutes by bus from nyc. seniors, like me, only have to pay about $2.25 each way and it sure beats parking fees in ny of upwards of $25. we don't have a movie theatre, but we do have a blockbuster video store. there's nothing special about our little town. one bad thing is we have a garbage transfer station and lots of garbage trucks traverse the main thoroughfare, hillsdale avenue. on a hot july day, it stinks, especially if you walk to town, as i often do. the schools are adequate. one principal mr. maietta, is a saint.
