"Many Happy Memories." Adamstown by Angela12

Adamstown Travel Guide: 0 reviews and 0 photos

I have so many happy childhood memories of Adamstown. My mum was born here and every year without fail, we headed off to Ireland for our summer holidays. Although Adamstown only consists of one pub, one church, one petrol station and a dance hall, as a child I didn't care. I remember getting up at 6am every morning just to milk the cows, and move the sheep from one field to the next. I went strawberry, potato and gooseberry picking. I walked for miles and miles across fields. My uncles house had no running water, so I had to get the water from a pump in the middle of the lane. It was great fun. I have so many memories, but there are too many to put on here. If anyone has the chance to visit Adamstown, please go. If I could go back for one day, as a child, I would.

I will be adding places to see and things to do in and around Adamstown as soon as I gather more information.

Please excuse me as I am new to all this.
