I like this town I live within an hour of Philly so I go there quite frequently. It is great for shopping, the arts, nightlife and history. Philly has a small-town city flair that is lacking in New York. In Center City the streets are laid out slightly better than New York and most of the place is much prettier. It has a nice skyline too but not too many of the icky high-rises that make you feel like a rat in a cage. And you can't beat the sheer amount of affordable restaurants and bars and clubs, many within walking distance. |
