One ex libris of Budapest is The Chain Bridge. This bridge rebuild several times due to war and it destruction is a beautiful engineering work. At night with the lights on is very beautiful. Also famous because the lions doesn’t have lung (I couldn’t find it!!!!) the legend says its creator kill himself cause that. That it’s a lay I can guarantee you. |
| | Nice place to work. Don’t you think? The Hungarian Parliament is one of the most famous buildings in the city, and the reason is obvious: It’s a lovely building. I’ve visited in a sonny morning, after one hour in the queue. UE citizens can visit for free the others pay a fee to enter, but consider this a good choice because it justifies each coin you spend. Inside we have the two chambers in use in Hungary and also have the Jewel of Crewel of Hungary, returned to Hungary after the Americans find it in second war. |
Gellert Hill The city is divided in two parts, the Buda side with several hills and the Pest side very plane. You have the Gellert Hill in the Buda side, and it’s a nice program to visit it in a morning or like I did at end of afternoon, why don’t you plan to see the sunset from here? You have a 5 stars hotel (Gellert Hotel) with famous Hungary baths and the view at the top is superb. Take care and use comfortable shoes because the treks are irregular. | | |
