Lake Biograd in the Rain and Mist (2006)

Lake Biograd is the focal centre for visitors to Biogradska Gora National Park. We first visited it in 2006 when it was raining heavily. However, we put on our caghouls and set off to walk round it, but had to turn round and retrace our steps when the planking over a marshy area came to an abrupt end! We then stopped for a drink in the cafe, where the staff seemed to be somewhat surprised to have visitors in the rain!

The following year, we returned in the sunshine and enjoyed a row on the lake as well as a walk along the shore.
