    • Mwagusi Safari Lodge, with its friendly and helpful staff and owner, Chris Fox, its African-style accommodation and its excellent meals, is a superb base from which to explore the park. It faces out onto a bend in a river, which was dry when we were there, and our bungalow or 'banda' had a large comfortable chair in front of it from which we could watch any wild life that happened to be running around in the river bed.
