|  | Istanbul is a fascinating and vibrant city. We spent a couple of days exploring it at the start of our 2004 visit to Turkey, staying at the Blue House Hotel. There are numerous interesting place to visit, and you can see some of those that we went to in our Things to Do pages. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to cross the Bosphorus to the Asian side.
From Istanbul we flew to Erciyes airport near Kayseri, and then travelled by road to Urgup. |
