Well this is one stunning Hotel.

The Palace of the Lost City at Sun City is one of the most enticing travellers' destinations in the world, a tribute to man's imagination and revered for its art and architecture. The Palace lavishes its guests with 5-star service, and is luxurious in every facet of its fabulous architecture and décor.

Unique Qualities: Surrounding the hotel is a 25 hectare botanical jungle. The jungle is threaded with meandering paths, cascades, lakes and pools and a variety of water-borne adventure rides.

Lush gardens, tropical birds and water features give The Cascades its sophistication and elegance. Its a lovely place to stay.

Unique Qualities: The luxury rooms at the Cascades Hotel get superior treatment and each room will have the added distinction of having their own dressing room with built in dressing table, cupboards and shoe racks. The bathrooms will have double vanity units and be somewhat larger than the standard bathrooms.

Well this a lovely Hotel , you have the choice of a Lake-Side View or Not but never the less its a excellent place to stay.

Its the least expensive of the Hotels at Sun City and for those on a budget travel this is the Ideal place to stay. Well you have to take a bus from the Hotel to the Sun City Entertainment Area.

Don`t worry the Bus Ride is free ;-)

The Lake there is spectacular and it catters for various water sports.

I stayed here on my last visit to Sun City. The Sun City Main hotel is very nice but also busy. Its a nice hotel to stay at if you enjoy gambling as the lifts to your hotel room is in the casino. There is also very nice restauarants here and the even the extravaganza.

One thing I did`nt like was the passages to the rooms. It does`nt look too nice but the rooms is not too bad. Also one thing that we found out was when it was time to sleep was that the bed was 2 single beds pushed together.

One thing thats nice about the main Hotel is that its situated between the Cascades and the Cabana`s and also close to the main entertainment area. So if you wanna make your way to the waterworld at the Cabana`s its a nice short walk pass the Gary Player Golf Coarse. The pool area here is nice but I guess I enjoyed my time more at the valley of the waves and even at the pool of the Cascades.

One thing to make sure is just to keep your sliding door of your balcony closed as there is mischievous monkeys around there.

I stayed at the Authentique French Quest House when I was unable to get accomodation at Sun City for the weekend I wanted to go. Well I have to say that the price for the accomoation was really good. They have various rondavels there to choose from and the price varies for everyone according to what accomodation you looking for. The owners of the place was really great people and very helpful and the breafast was very nice.

This place is situated about 30KM from Sun City and they have alot to offer which is great. So if you on a tight budget and looking for reasonable priced accomodation instead of staying at Sun City this surely the place to book.

The only thing I didn`t like is that the place is situated 3km off the main road and you had to drive on a sand road to get there. Other than that I was completely satisfied with my stay there.

Unique Qualities: They offer alot of activities that you can do and book from them at prices alot less than what you would pay if you booked it at Sun City.
