Getting TO/AROUND: I think this is one of the best ways to travel while in Singapore. Its easy ,fast and cheap. All you have to do is just get a free map at any MRT station and then just see what station you want to go to which is closest to the places you want to visit. There is various lines , so changing from one line to the next is a breeze once you worked out where you want to go. You can even take the MRT to Changi Airport instead of paying the high taxi prices. Its well worth it and its not a problem travelling with your luggage on the MRT.

Getting TO/AROUND: 1st thing you gotta do when you plan on using the MRT / LRT is to get the EZ Link card. I think it cost about 15s$ and you can use it as many times using any train until the money is up. You can constantly top up your card as you go along and when you return the card when you no longer have use for it you get a 3s$ refund. You can get this card at any MRT Station.
