Petronas Twin Towers: Unique and of True Beauty
  • Tip Rating:
  • These towers is something , I could`nt get enough of looking at the building ;0P. I love its unique architecture. Its truely a land mark that I think all Malaysians should be really proud of.

Well for information sake the Building is owned by Malaysia`s National Oil Company Petronas and the height of the towers is about 452m.

One thing which is also nice to checkout is the skybridge which connects the 2 towers as an escape route for either tower. I would suggest go early to collect your free tickets because when I went there at 8am I only managed to get tickets to go up there at 13h15 and it took me just over an hour to get out to the ticket counter. Its well worth it.

    Things To Do: KLCC Aquaria
  • Tip Rating:
  • If you happen to be shopping with your family in Suria KLCC and you have sometime to spare , I think it would be a good idea to go the KLCC Aquaria. You can even make a day trip to come to the Aquaria , see the towers and Taman KLCC and then go shopping but its sure worth the stop.

I remember coming there and all non Malaysians have to pay more for entry. RM38 for Adults and RM22 for kids. This is place is really awesome , they have really a large variety of fish and other animals all over the aquarium. Just keep on moving from place to place there as they start off with fish from the highland and then you get to see all the snakes and bugs from the Jungle and just keep on following the path until you get this glass tunnel which is really something. You have all these large sharks and stingrays and other fish all swimming around you and over you as you have a full view of everything. This was the highlight for me in the aquarium , it even have a conveyor belt which slowly takes you through the tube so you don`t even have to walk. You can get to dive in this tank along side the sharks as I saw many divers in here. Well once you done here you finish up in the Aquaria gift shop. It was a great experience for me and I really enjoy it.

Batu Caves: A Mamoth Task ;0P
  • Tip Rating:
  • Well here I was at Batu Caves ,when I 1st saw the staircase I was like "ok it does`nt look so bad". Thats the last time I`m ever going up there ;0P 272 steep stairs was really killing on my legs. Never the less its a really good landmark especially if you a Hindu person as its a really sacred place for the Hindu`s. Anyway you be greeted by many monkeys on the way up. Its not like any caves I`ve ever visited before as I really expect to be in some close chamber rather reaching the large entrance and looking right over to the other staircase where there is another open area whereby you can say some prays if you a Hindu. There is alos a curio shop at the top.

Menara Telecommunications Tower: A great place to see the whole of KL
  • Tip Rating:
  • The KL Tower is really something if you want to get a real view of the city. Its also known as Menara "which means towers" Kuala Lumpur. In my opinion I think its better coming up here to get a view of the city then the Skybridge at the Twin Towers. The tower is 421m high and yep you got to go the top where by you got a view of the whole city. The lift going up is really something as you fly up to the top. When you arrive at the top you are greeted by the staff there and given some head phones with a little devices which tells you all about the city of KL in your own language. You have these Binnoculars up there that you can get a real close up of certain places. The cost to go to the top is RM20 per adult. There is some restaurants at the entrance of the towers and some curio and other shops. There is also a shuttle service which takes people to and from the bottom of the road to the top where the entrance to the tower is.

Putrajaya: Beautiful but 2 huge to walk around.
  • Tip Rating:
  • I always heard of Putrajaya and about the beautiful bridges and buildings it had of Parliment. Anyway I set out to the see the place so I jumped the train to go and check it out. Anyway when I left the train station I jumped a bus to Putrajaya. To my suprise I found that Putrajaya is Huge and that everything is far from each other. I managed to get off at a point and walked on this bridge whereby I could see the Perdana Putra which is the office of the Prime Minister and the Putra Mosque which is absolutely beautiful. I happend to see only one of the Putra brigdes but the other one was far away. Anyway Putrajaya is a very beautiful and very clean place and a great place if you wanna do some relaxing shopping. So if you wanna go there by train do so but don`t take a bus from the station just take a cab from there to show you around.

Things To Do: Kanching Recreational Forest
  • Tip Rating:
  • When I arrive here and started walking up the path way to see the waterfall , I saw lots of poeple who came here to have a picnic. When I eventually got the top where I have a nice view of the waterfall , I saw lots people taking advantage of the pools of water at the base of waterfall to swim. Its beautiful and green with lots of trees and the bottom of the mountain , there is many families there with kids all swimming in the river. The monkeys here is quiet a problem so if you get to come here I would advice to be carefull with your food stuff as they will grab it from you with any opportunity they get. Also to just be careful for slippery rocks when walking close to the waterfall.
