  • Each room/suite has a kitchen (fully equipped), living room, one tv (huge) per room, iron, ironing board, the air conditionning system is kind of odd looking but it works...complimentary breakfast served in the lobby...(continental breakfast)

Changed to a Holiday Inn Express on Jan. 5th 2005.

Just went back in May 2006. Rooms are as clean as ever. They removed the stove/oven, just a microwave instead. The airconditioning system is not as bulky and works well. One suggestion, if you can, you should consider asking for a room facing the interior court as the noise on the side street was quite annoying. The continental breakfast was extensive and enjoyable. The neighbourhood: well, it is very close to the rough area with beggers and so on... The free internet access was nice, in the hotel's business centre.

Unique Qualities: Very clean! The rooms are very quiet and the beds are comfortable.

The couch in the living room can also be converted into a double-bed.

    Friendly and accomodating staff too.

It is close to downtown, Chinatown, Old Montreal, Place des Arts,...

    Delta Montreal: Great location...Near everything

  • Well my room was originally a room normally reserved for handicapped guests (wider hallway, wider doorways, wider floor layout)

Unfortunately, the airconditioning system was "kaput" so I was eventually offered a different room. The only room available was a suite on the 22nd floor. (about 60 feet long, with two balconies, four windows, writing desk, sofa, three chairs, coffee table, huge tv armoire, dining/conference table for eight, a wet bar (with sink), a kitchen with home sized refrigerator, microwave, upgraded hotel amenities...) ...so the bed was a murphy bed (folds into an armoire) it was still very comfortable!

So I didn't mind the inconvenience of having to change rooms. It was great!

Parking was not such a great deal though; $20 CDN per day...oh well.

Just went back...didn't get an upgrade...snif! room is still very big...furniture looks like it needs an upgrade or decor renovation....king sized bed was perfect though...

Just went back again...this time the shower taps wouldn't stop leaking...starting to think the hotel needs a little bit of TLC. The long wait for elevators is also a bit annoying...hotel seems to be fully booked all the time...

Just went back again...this time the air conditionning system was practically useless...

Unique Qualities: Free access to a computer room with access to two computers and no charge for printing something... very convenient!

They have a good sized gym but I was too jetlagged to go. Next time!

Courtyard Montreal Airport: Great Place to go to when passing by...

  • New construction, great design features. Really comfortable beds! It is within walking distance to a few restaurants, cinemas and a mall. There is a complimentary shuttle available between the airport and the hotel.

Unfortunately I did not have much time to try the gym that is available on site. We went for a late lunch at Mikes, just a few minutes walk from the hotel. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the sun while we had our lunch.

In the room there is a coffee machine as well as a small fridge available for your convenience.

Unique Qualities: The check-in staff was pleasant. Marriott points available. Next to the highway so it is easy to get in and out of it. Minutes from the airport. Non-smoking hotel. Large desk in the room. They even had complimentary coffee available on the morning of our departure in the lounge area. They also deliver a complimentary newpaper to your door in the morning.
