Well my room was originally a room normally reserved for handicapped guests (wider hallway, wider doorways, wider floor layout)
Unfortunately, the airconditioning system was "kaput" so I was eventually offered a different room. The only room available was a suite on the 22nd floor. (about 60 feet long, with two balconies, four windows, writing desk, sofa, three chairs, coffee table, huge tv armoire, dining/conference table for eight, a wet bar (with sink), a kitchen with home sized refrigerator, microwave, upgraded hotel amenities...) ...so the bed was a murphy bed (folds into an armoire) it was still very comfortable!
So I didn't mind the inconvenience of having to change rooms. It was great!
Parking was not such a great deal though; $20 CDN per day...oh well.
Just went back...didn't get an upgrade...snif! room is still very big...furniture looks like it needs an upgrade or decor renovation....king sized bed was perfect though...
Just went back again...this time the shower taps wouldn't stop leaking...starting to think the hotel needs a little bit of TLC. The long wait for elevators is also a bit annoying...hotel seems to be fully booked all the time...
Just went back again...this time the air conditionning system was practically useless...
Unique Qualities: Free access to a computer room with access to two computers and no charge for printing something... very convenient!
They have a good sized gym but I was too jetlagged to go. Next time!
