Name of Shop: Camden Market, all the food stalls
The Camden Market day is on Sundays but there are signs everywhere saying they are open all week long. You will find pretty much anything... from antique shops to Goth clothing shops and everything in between (hand made soap with dried mini roses, paintings, pictures, vintage clothing, computer art, Indian imports, Doc Marten boots, retro furniture, dishes from Jerusalem,...
They also have an array of prepared foods from different regions of the world. This time I saw a Bavarian booth offering German sausages, sauercrout and potatoes. Another one was offering Moroccan tagine. You will need to walk around to see all of the food areas as they are scattered around the market. The one problem I found is that due to the large volume of people, you might end up eating standing up or while walking around. This was not so popular with my inlaws and we finally found a spot at a pic-nic table. The prices are reasonnable and the variety interesting. This time I tried some couscous with lamb and it was very good. I found that in the summer there was a bit more selection for food.
If you are ready for a sea of colours and people it might just be a great place to go visit on a sunny day.
What To Buy: Great place to find souvenirs or little gifts to bring home for friends and family.
What To Pay: Some are open to bargaining...
