The Falls is FUN!

by LakeFever - last update: Dec 1, 2005

Sunsets are awesome in Niagara!

ahhh..where am I?
I live just outside the falls in a residential area...this view is quite common and can been seen from many places in Niagara.....there are plenty of sights to be seen.....Im 15 minutes from the US border and another 1/2 hr to the buffalo airport...the drive to Toronto is 1.5 hrs and done very easily.
All in all it is very central to a larger area. Chilled and fairly laid back...lots of live music in small bars and pubs...of course the casino and other tourist things are there to enjoy as is wine country and festivals...A good place to live...a pretty decent party...nice people.
Oh ya, I didnt grow up here...moved for school and never left....except to get on a plane!!
The Mighty Niagara River

The only thing to do in the FALLS.

If your in the area from end of April to End of October, the Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours is the one thing you have to do. The water is free!
You laughing at me?

Yummy.....the ice cream is too!

Say Hi to Amy!...She my girlfriend...I hope she loves me as much as she loves the ice cream.....the placed we stoped at is called Monks Chocolates which is on hwy 20 around Jordan. Its a nice drive through there...the nice thing about the Niagara Peninsula is you can drive anywhere in any direction and still be able to find your way back with out to much problem...between Lake Erie and Ontario...drive around.
We quite often take little trips round the region checking out different things...lots of stuff on water...between the beaches to the south, the river and falls on the east and Port Dalhousie to the north.
Amys Ice cream tip: Big Scoop in Thorold.....just had to pull over!~
