Manchester is easy to get around...from where we were staying we could pretty much walk anywhere in the city center. You are never to far from anything. The city has a light rail system as well as local buses. Neither seemed to hard to take, at the same time nothing seemd to far away. |
| | Welcome to Manchester...City Center. The city revolves around a big square...there are a bunch of monuments there, a couple fountains and places to sit. Reataurants, pubs and shopping are all within a walk away. With the old criss cross streets you can sometimes get lost but youre never to far away. Some of the bar scene is further out of town..within a 7sterling cab ride. Other places of interest lie within the outskirts of the city..tours are available through hotels ....as well...there is a selection of restaurants....all ranges...you can though find everything from thai to chiken wings......Have fun over a few days and enjoy the sights. |
Pendulum Legs...walkin and talkin....take a look. The city was quite nice...an obviously, not too crowded. Not sure why it was so quiet in this photo....we were just walking around and shootin the breeze (hitch and I that is).....there was some interesting stuff that filled our time...not with standing the many many pubs and eateries....watch out though....Manchester has the second most pizza hut restaurants outside of Glasgow. | | | Is there anybody out there?? |
