Luang Prabang transports you back in time So you can experience life as it may have been a hundred years ago. The town charm affects everyone. Together both locals and foriegners are trying to preserve the town's fascinating characteristics. The preservation process took a giant step forward ten years ago, when UNESCO recognized Luang Prabang as a world heritage site.
This trip was started from ChiangMai by flying with Laos airlines ... only 1 hour. We arrived Luang Prabang in the afternoon ... after checked-in at the hotel we climbed up to PhouSi Hill then walked around. Nothing much to do here ( in my opinion because I was borned in ChiangMai and somebody who was borned 60 years ago at least says Luang Prabang looks like ChiangMai in the past ) but very peaceful ... if you wanna relax just come here, you may find the time pass slowly ... |
