I was in the Ukraine for about two weeks this summer and I really liked it there. I was in Odessa, Kiev and Lviv. All three cities are awesome, there is so much cool arcitecture and beautiful churches, many interesting street scenes to look at, things to do and see. I used walked around basically and tried to get a feel for the place and I felt good instantly, that is a good sign for me always. I stayed with really nice people, hitchhiked with wodka smugglers across the EU border, drank and sang and played guitar with cool people, some Dynamo Kiev fans even gave me a fan scarf as a present. I was stunned.

Kiev is such a cool city, it was one of the best cities I ve ever been to. I had a great time there. I specially liked the churches, even though I normally dont like them too much. And then the metro was real cool, it is so deep on, because they built it to use it as bomb shelter also. It takes minutes on the stairway to get to the top. I used liked the air of that city, I used felt good there.

Lviv is really great. It is in the west of the Ukraine and used to be polish and it definetely is more of a western city then Odessa or Kiev. Its arcitecture remind me strongly of polish cities. I had a 4 day stopover there and I really enjoyed it. There was a cool artist cafe and hangout near to a church where I found the cool car that is in the picture.
