Pros and Cons

Pros:a real mixture of happenings - history, partying, out walking in the atmosphere of canals and photogenic buildings and 13 million bicycle, huge partying on Queens Day, top class art.
Cons:huge red light district, why are stunning and not so stunning women selling themselves to rather unstunning men!!??
In a nutshell:a city of so much diversity, so much to do theres always something to come back for

Checking what I missed out on. My Hotel was a short walk from the Brewery. Lucky you having nice, calm morning for those lovely canal shots! Was hoping for that, breeze, then wind put and end to that.

I enjoyed reading your interesting and enthusiastic tips on Amsterdam. Yes, "even the parked bicycles can be photogenic!" I wonder who those 2 million Dutch people are who don't have bicycles -- out of 16,570,613 in the country, so that makes 12%.

Well. Amsterdam is not my favourite city, but you sure made it look nice. (Leaving out the Marihuana leaves and exposed ladies.... As if that is all Holland is worth about)

Thanks for showing me Amsterdam. Maybe it'd better by air, but I was there by car which was robbed. Because of that I missed all those interesting places!
