Germany meets Manchester for Christmas 2009

Pros and Cons

Pros:excellent Christmas markets including legit Germany markets with Bratwurst, Gluhwein and the works, interesting and photogenic buildings around the city - a few medieval stunners that survived WW2s blitzing, cathedral worth a visit!
Cons:Cold in December!

Hi Angie, great to see you as well, it was a fab time in Manchester and as ever too short but all the same at least we got into the warmth eventually.
