Eksjö Travel Guide: 29 reviews and 123 photos

Eksjo was built in the 16th century and, except for about 40 buildings destroyed by fire in the southern part of the old town in the 18th century, many of its buildings have been preserved.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:All of the timber towns that I visited, because they were advertised as being 'one of the best preserved wooden towns in Sweden', were topnotch worth visiting!

Interesting Buildings, I guess there must have been plenty of forest years ago, amazing how these buildings survive.
