"Aglou Plage" Aglou by angiebabe
Aglou Travel Guide: 6 reviews and 42 photos
About 17 km from Tiznit is Aglou Plage, with good surf and long sandy beach - just take care of rubbish that litters the beach as is typical with beaches in Morocco.
The photo shows north where after a 2km walk along the beach you will reach a fishing village where houses have been hollowed out of the cliffs. You can see the multicoloured doors lining the cliffs from Aglou.
Good surf here and on a good day its lovely to sit here in the sun. If the Atlantic winds start blowing in it can be a pretty wild place - but that adds a dramatic look and adds to the charm!
Just dont go swimming! The strong undertow here makes it a dangerous place for swimming.
About 90 km from Agadir taking the shortest route via the back roads, about 2 and a half hours from Tafraout, about half an hour from Sidi Ifni following the coast road Aglou makes a handy destination as part of a circuit or as a day trip for beach and seafood...
- Pros:long sandy beach, well built promenade above the beach, cafes and seafood restaurants in a nice spot above the waves, walk along to troglodyte cottages
- Cons:dangerous rips make swimming not safe

weird grey/yellow colors here! beach, cheap seafood, sunset, everything seems ideal...
Stunning photos of those cave houses in the rocks.
Sounds like a bargain for the seafood meal!
The caves house looks fascinating! Nice page!
It's good you've been there! Such an adventure....><><><><><
Some beach:-).That food looks great, too! I want to go there, now!
It was a beach holiday no? Sun sea and just relaxing !! Greetz
This looks like a great place to visit, and I LOVE that main photo of the beach!
that looks pretty interesting.
When I saw the intro page photo I thought it was an impressionist painting! Great shots and interesting looking places to stay and eat - better prices and warmer than Stockholm too! :)
