It houses over 8,600 pantings, but can only exhibit 2,00 because of space restrictions. It is currently under expansion and renovation. The history of the Prada museum during the reign of Charles II, when he tried to create a single art collection under one roof. But, it was not unt the reign of Fernando VII when the Royal Museum of Painting and Sculpture was created, on November 19, 1819. The Prada Art museum was located a short distance from my Hotel. |
