Resorts at Chao Lao Beach / Laem Sadet Beach: Plenty local-run resorts

We always stay at resort by beach at Chao Lao beach. There are many range of accomodations and mostly run by locals. There's also some rather expensive but beautiful and in peaceful atmosphere near Laem Sadet Beach, the one I see its rather famous is Maldives Beach Resort, a little further out from Chao Lao beach.

Unique Qualities: Local style and almost resorts here are at front beach, cheap local seafood restaurants in the area. Mostly visitors here are Thai family come for a weekend break.

KP Grand Hotel: In town / Near Shopping Store & Gemstone Market

Normally when I visited Chanthaburi I always stay at the resort by beach. Once I must stay in town, keep serching and finally stayed at this hotel.

I find this place is one of the big hotel in town of Chanthaburi, located next to Robinson Department Store and the biggest gemstone market of the town. I enjoyed wander around the area. There at the hotel the lobby was huge and the breakfast was good !!!
