Sirmione juts out on a narrow spit of land about 1 km onto Lago Garda. At the very end lies the small town of Sirmione with the entrance guarded by a castle (Castello Scaligero)with a molt. The entrance to the town has a series of 3 narrow gates that only one car can enter or leave at a time.
During the day the town is so crowded you can hardly move. In the evenings, after the tour buses leave the town settles down to a nice quite town.
- Pros:Good Shopping and a great place to explore
- Cons:Too many people
