Nightlife Spot: Clifton Beach

This doesn't necessarily constitute a 'night spot,' however it seems as good a place as any to insert it.Clifton, an up-market residential district of Karachi, sits on a beach, which varies from very rocky to nice and sandy. It goes without saying that the public beach is rocky. That said, the street that runs along it is a hive of activity at night and on the weekends. The spring and summer are both very hot and often humid, so it’s a good place to go to escape the heat. You can go for camel rides, watch odd little animal acts – like the monkey and “trainer” above – or just walk and munch.
