"Life in England" Susi_Blackforest's Profile

I spent most of my life in the south-west of Germany, one year in the US, and 10 years ago moved to lovely Bedfordshire, UK.

Although there are many beautiful countries in the world, my passion for one country started when I was just 11 years old - GREECE.

With my younger sister and our parents we drove several times in an old VW Beatle from Germany through Austria, Yugoslavia, all the way down to northern Greece (approx. 2500 km), where we spent many long, happy summers.

Over the years I kept visiting Greece and made it my aim to see as much as possible of the country. There are still many places on my wish list!

Happy Birthday, Susie! My boyfriend (born & raised in Germany) made the trek down to Greece in a minicooper when he was a young adult. He often speaks about this trip! Glad you have fond memories. That's what traveling is about! ENJOY your day!
