Boltenhagen is a lovely little town near to Lübeck (50 km east).

There is a very natural and shallow beach, about 4,5 kilometers long, only small breakers - especially suited for kids and seniors. rentals along the beach. Wicker beach chair rental.

We stayed there for one week in the end of March and we liked it !

We have rent an appartment which is owned by ourt neighbours. It is located near the beach and the seebridge.

In 8 days we had only sunshine and no clouds which is really seldom for the Baltic Sea.

The second oldest Baltic Sea resort, with a beach that is over 4.5 kilometers long, was discovered by the Bothmer family at the beginning of the 19th century. There are many prestigious houses along the boardwalk which enhance browsing here even more.
Two insider tips are the 290 meter long pier and the steep bluffs.

Outside you only get small dishes. But it was a great expeariance to eat in a wicker chair! more travel advice
