Grossarl Valley

The family professional in the Ski amade!

Grossarl Valley: Skifahren & Carving
The best swings ever can be made on the endlessly wide Hochbrand run. The skiing area Grossarl is just the thing for deep-snow freaks, too. 80 kms of perfectly groomed slopes, but also untouched slopes with powder snow guarantee that the skiing holiday will be a big success. When we arrived at the end of March we still had 180 cm of snow.

The ski lift Grossarltal whisked us up to the heights for unforgettable days of skiing.
? 250 km marked hiking trails
? 40 alpine huts serving food and beverages
? Part of the area is in Nationalpark Hohe Tauern
? 80 km marked mountain bike trails
Nationalpark Hohe Tauern shows itself from its very best side in the "Valley of Alpine Pastures." The secret of the valley lies in its tranquility. You experience an alpine valley with minimum local traffic and no fog.

In winter 2004 / 05 the Grossarl Valley-Dorfgastein ski circuit took part in an international ski area test and won a sensational second place. In the areas of slope maintenance, snow-making and ticket office the ski circuit was even winner.

Every morning we could imagine how they deserve this success. Slopes were always in a fantastic condition. We had warm sunny weather which causes a lot of work for the maintenance.

I suppose it's under the Panoramabahn. I have seen nothing under the other station so be careful where you finish your skiing.
