Well this year I am a student in Sapporo! Sapporo is a great city - not hugely Japanese but has its cultural locations. Any questions ask away! Will work on this page abit while I am here. I Have been here for 5 months now.
Sapporo is well known for its very cold winter. But if you dress for the weather it is not that cold. Layers are needed.
The one place you have to visit if you go to Sapporo is Odori Park (seen above). If its a good day you can go up Sapporo TV tower (I think its about 1200 yen) and see most of the city.
