Of all the cities I've been to, New Orleans stands alone as the only city where the first and foremost activity is partying. It is true that there are museums, a few parks, and a lot of history to experience. However, one stroll down Bourbon Street will show you why people of all ages flock to the Crecent City. There are some bars that close for only an hour - and that's just to clean up the mess from the previous 23 hours of partying. It's really a 24/7 frat party on any night of the year.
That's not to say it's not a fun place to be. But the concentration of partying in this city makes a few days feel like a few weeks. |
