Cancun is just what you would expect. Party places everywhere and very touristy. If that is what you are looking for then you are in the perfect place.
If you are looking for Mexican culture and historic sites then I think maybe you can find a better place outside the area in the Yucatan that might suit you better. If we could do it again we would have stayed closer to the bigger archiological sites since that was our interest and we do not drink alcohol at all.
Still, all can be had from Cancun and we had a wonderful time nonetheless. |
