Finally Getting Around to Ottawa! | A Beautiful Sunny Afternoon in Ottawa! |
I'm sorry it has taken so long to create these pages and my most sincere apologies to Ottawa. I'm quite sure that tourism has suffered due to my procrastination but now the Capital of Canada can rejoice... My tips are here! ;-)
Ok, to be honest it will likely take me more time to create these pages than the actual time I spent in this visually stimulating city. I arrived here after a 5 hour drive from Toronto for a business appointment and at the end of a very nice meeting at the New Balance store in Ottawa (commercial plug!) I asked where to go to view the city. I was directed to the downtown area and the Byward Market. I found it easily, parked, and walked across the street to this magnificent open area with spectacular views. Talk about dumb luck! Well, I have the dumb part covered most sufficiently and the luck was having a beautiful, warm sunny day to wander around and take a few pictures. Though my time was short here, I hope you will join me in this virtual tour of the sights and perhaps you too will want to place Ottawa on your list of places to visit... It is most definitely on mine now!
