So Much to Do, So Much To See... | Views Abound in Every Direction |
Welcome to my FINISHED Washington, DC pages! Well, at least they're finished for now but this is definitely one of those places that you can easily go back again and again. So, we'll consider this as a "work in progress" and I'll be sure to add tips as I return.
Please take some time to see Washington through my eyes, camera and thoughts. You know me... I have to involve a degree of personal feeling into my tips simply because these places create these emotions. And, its not good to hold things inwards, right? I hope you won't hold such thoughts and opinions against me as I'm only trying to be honest.
Come on in and see some of Washington, DC with me!

| | One Trip Won't Get it All Done I'd truly hate to say what percentage of the things to see in this area I've actually seen. I think it would be daunting to know as it would surely be a tiny little number. But that's the beauty of places like Washington, DC, don't you see?
There are the always there, reassuring sights and there are the many museums and galleries that are always in motion to bring new items and artifacts to an interested public. How can you lose with so many choices?

| | Get in Touch with Your Own History Self! When to visit Washington, DC? Well, the short answer is anytime you have the opportunity to visit! The longer, more reasonable answer is more like Spring and Fall. I say this because Summer is obviously a busy tourist time but moreso because the Washinton area can be oppressively hot and humid... after all, it was built upon a reclaimed swamp!
Spring brings the blossoms of the Cherry Trees and Fall brings cooler temps and an end of the Summer tourists. Winter can often bring snow and frigid temperatures so come when you can! But DO come!

Pawtuxet Fri Dec 19, 2008 15:38 UTC Back again to see your finished product. Good job. Many museums & monuments worth seeing, but I do love the grace, rythm, and "movement" of the Korean monument. Must be the capes... the men are so "with us". | Amara Tue Apr 29, 2008 13:36 UTC Great new pages Steve.
