Ahhhh... Stockholm! Love is in the Air!

by NC_Ziggy - last update: Feb 20, 2005

A Beautiful City! A Loving Companion!

I hope to see BOTH of YOU again soon!
This is the first and most recent travel opportunity that I have experienced strictly for pleasure... Most other travels have been for business or some other reason to be in these places... But, I'm not complaining... I enjoy them no matter the purpose for being there!

But, this was truly different and truly special... This was both an opportunity to visit a most scenic and beautiful city and a greater opportunity to meet someone that captured my heart! I will only say that both Stockholm and this wonderful person exceeded all expectations! Stay tuned... I will tell you more without telling you toooooo much! ;-)

Though we researched some places that we wanted to visit, we also wandered around streets away from the tourist path, took different means of transportation, and took any direction with the reward of finding something of interest always! Honestly, many of the pictures provided I can't tell you about, but found them interesting and unique. So, these pages may not provide the detail and specific information that you may want or need for your visit to this splendid city, but as many have said here before, I encourage you to seek and find your own direction and course... And in Stockholm I think you will not be disappointed wherever you go!

But, for those of you who rightfully want and need specific tips, please visit VT member Maline Maline's Stockholm Page who has graciously given permission to visit her Stockholm tips as this is home to her. You should also visit her many other travel pages as they are most entertaining and informative, humorous and well-written. Thank you, Maline!

And, I must apologize for the quality of the pictures... it seems my scanner has some problems these days! Hope to go digital in the future! ;-)

So, don't worry so much where WE were or were not... find your own place, but do come to this scenic, clean, friendly, and hospitable city! If you enjoy your stay MUCH, MUCH less than I, you will still have enjoyed it immensely! It's a MUST SEE EXPERIENCE! Come Along!

Pros:"Clean, Beautiful, Friendly, and My Best Travel Ever!"
Cons:"Only that I haven't been back yet..."
In A Nutshell:"I HIGHLY recommend a trip here! We LOVED it!"

True!! I don't appreciate and don't see why a tip on a hotel bathroom or a hotel view......For me it isn't helpful at all!!!!

Probably this is "Aroydee" at Stora Nygatan 3 in Gamla Stan. This does great Dimsum and on Sundays ths is often full of a variety of Chinese and Asian (or descendents of) inhabitants. Dimsum is also served during the week. My family go there regularly.

I like what you wrote me. I'm taking that "to the bank" and going to be okay from now on.
