What can you say about Paris that has not already be said by many others far more qualified than me??? You simply must go there and be there and then you will understand my dilema in trying to tell you about this magical and mystical place! It is both good and bad, beautiful and ugly, historic and modern... But above all, it is a place that will make an impression upon you and will leave you wanting to know more because being there teases you so very much! ;-)
I don't have a lot of pictures to share with you, but there are many available on VT to this "Magical Kingdom"... Though I have been there twice it was nearly 30 years apart. Once in the winter and once in the summer. Once on a bus tour from Heidelberg and once there for business. Both times were far too brief and short, but enjoyable still!
Come along with me and share what I have seen and am able to remember in my feeble age... ;-) But put Paris on your list of "Must See" places! And, would someone please help tell me where I was out in the country? Please visit my "Where Am I?" travelogue below and help me if you can! HELP!
Lost in France... Where am I?
NEWS FLASH! The Mystery is Solved! Just in to the newsroom, our Ace Reporter Isabella (aka VT Member Labeep) has just cracked the case of the idiot traveller who didn't know where he was! Stay tuned for more details! Story at 11 and even more story when I find time to tell you more! And now, these words from our sponsor...
- Pros:There is SOOOO much to see and do and experience
- Cons:Have yet to have enough time there!
- In a nutshell:You HAVE to visit Paris... life is not complete without it!

Nice site of Paris! Probably a wish list destination for everybody? Well done.
I love this city also. Its my favorite place that I have visited. Love the arched eyebrow picture.
I have to return to Paris one day. My 24 hours stay just made me more hungry of it. Cheers:)
Good morning Steve: What a combination -- a romantic guy in a romantic city. Paris really is beautiful isn't it! Big hugs. Lori.
LOL thats funny you left a comment for me on your own VT page. LOL I am leaving now. Yes Mike is sad (7-14) :-) I am leaving from Spain the 5th of Oct. - going to Copenhagen to pick up my brother and the 6th we go to KC.
Hey Steve, I will get to Paris one day. It seems to leave an indelible impression on those who visit.
What an incredible view from the Eiffel Tower! The city looks so organised from up there. Fantastic! Oh! Don't worry about your eyebrow!! Its cute! Greetings from Australia and me!
I missed La Defense area completely when I was here - but that was so long ago, surely I'm due for another trip now? I like your flying eyebrow syndrome - it makes people wonder what you're up to : )
great stuff Steve, I find that I'm always too keyed up to sleep too. :D. hey, now, why do some of MY pics of Paris look the same as YOURS?!
lovely pages, love the city,Lets hope its not another 30 years till you go again??!!
