Different types of notes - Hong Kong

Different types of notes

The Dosh

Favorite thing: For those who are not aware, the currency of Hong Kong is the Hong Kong Dollar. The denominations of the notes are
HK$10, 20, 50, 100, and 500.
This is just a basic tip for those planning to visit HK is that when you encounter various different types of money, its okay!!
As Hong Kong has a varied number of banks, they all print their own money, and it looks very different, so dont think you are being given dodgy money, it will be okay.
One of the £10 notes is my favourite as its very colourful, I have kept a few as souvenirs.

Hong Kong Skyline from Kowloon - Hong Kong

Hong Kong Skyline from Kowloon

They are all over Skyscrapers Review

Favorite thing: If skyscrapers are your thing, Hong Kong is the place for you. Where ever you look you will see loads and loads of skyscrapers.
The best views are from Kowloon side at the harbour with Hong Kong Island to the front of you, the views are breathtaking.

Fondest memory: Even when walking down the street you get a great buzz. The atmosphere, the markets the hustle and bustle is just fantastic.

Signs... all over - Hong Kong
Signs... all over

Favorite thing: Not a tip as such, but just something I though I would add to my page, as its something I feel that is a intergral part of Hong Kong.
After arriving at the airport we made our way to the city and then used the metro to our closest stop for our hotel. Then as we were going upstairs, all the signs you see coming out of the MRT station are so overwhelming, it was that moment I started to fall in love with Hong Kong. I just love the signs, they are just all over, and althought I dont understand what they are saying they are just so cool to look at.
Where they did help me was that some are kinda unique and then you can always refer back to them if you do tend to get a little lost, but then on the other hand as you cannot read them, it can be a bit deceptive, so also something to look out for.
