    • There is not many things to do in Richardsbay, but one of the nice things is to go to the Lighthouse by Alkantstrand in Meerensee, and then go to the oulook. You can see all over the town, beaches and harbour, its really a nice view.

    Directions: If you go to Meerensee, pass the Big hotel and first turn to you left, go up a gravel road and it will lead you to the viewing place.

    • When visiting Richardsbay, a nice place to spend the days is on Alkantstrand. Its the most popular beach in Richardsbay, and is especially popular over the weekends and on holidays.

    Its set in a nice location with nice green lawns and lots of nice palms trees.
    Its also lifeguard protected, and has shark nets.

     i would love to explore south africa, and i have no excuse not to really, its not that far to catch a SAA flight from perth to joburg!
