Pennsylvania has everything; history (Philadelphia) and scenery (the Alleghenys). A visitor to the state can choose whichever one then they want. In Pennsylvania, you can look into the rooms where the Decleration of Independence was signed one day, then go hiking in the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania the next. The history is fascinating, and the scenery is spectacular.
However, some things in Pennsylvania aren't so pleasant: the Three Mile Island incident, coal mining, and clear-cutting. Still, Pennsylvania is a good place to visit. |
