Blue Ridge Mountains
North America is one of the world's most diverse continents, with rain forests, deserts, glaciers, and just about a little of everything else. I done about 90% of my traveling in North America (the rest in Asia) and yet I probably haven't even seen a fraction of 1% of what this giant piece of land has to offer. Of the three major countries in North America, I've visited two (Canada and the USA).

My Favorite North American Areas:
1. Pacific Northwest
2. Southern Sierra Nevada
3. San Francisco
4. Canadian Rockies
5. Blue Ridge Mountains

English (in the US and Canada) and Spanish (in Mexico) are the two predominately spoken languages on the continent. Large portions of the northern Canada and Alaska are inaccessible, while the United States of America has roads on just about every square mile, making getting around very convenient.

Good info if you have no clue what NA looks like. There was an article in the Nat Geographic about Acadia last year, awesome scenery there!

Just wonderful. What a grand overview of some of the most glorious places in North America. Also, your warnings are very worthwhile. These are really "star-worthy" pages.
