Lovely Taiwan | Jioufen Mountain Village View -J uly 2008 |
Hi,
I am Ajeet. I live in Taipei , Taiwan R O C.
I am an Indian and have lived here in Taiwan for 23 years.
I love this country and its people. I moved over here from Singapore in 1984
I am always very happy to advise people on Taiwan as a tourist destination.
There is a lot to see here in Taiwan. You have the National Parks, Theme Parks, Some of the tallest mountains in this part of the region, Great Beaches, Lovely cities, Lots of Historic Temples.
Other than that, there is great shopping, great nightlife - Pubs, Discos, KTV , wonderful and tasty food and the Very famous night Markets.
I have a simple website that features links to various destinations in Taiwan and other useful information links. I hope it is of help to some of you. I keep updating it as and when I find new interesting sites.
The last Website Update was on : July 2008 |
| The New Guanghua Computer Market -Opened 19th July |

| Hong Sao Niu Ro Mian @ 15 Taoyuan Street, Taipei |
| | Niu Ro Mian - Taiwan Beef Noodle There are many competitions and many winners for the Best Beef Noodle in Town but this establishment does not enter contests, nor do they advertise. Frankly , they do not have a signboard outside their establishment.
However, be prepared to stand in line for a seat. You will have to share a table with others during peak hours to enjoy the most delicious bowl of Hong Sao Niu Ro Mian in Taiwan. 10 am to 9 pm |
| | Martyr's Shrine - Taipei The National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine is dedicated to the people who sacrificed their lives fighting for the Republic of China. Situated behind the Grand Hotel on Bei An Road, I still like to go there to see the Changing of the guards. |
| Changing of the Guards - Martyr's Shrine |
| | Changing of the Guards - Martyr's Shrine - Taipei Hourly from 9 am to 5 pm - the elobarate Changing of the Guards at the Martyr's Shrine. |
