Wat Arun also known the The Temple of Dawn is one of Bangkoks most famous landmarks. Located on the west side of the Chao Phraya River it is very peaceful as it is rarely crowded. The porcelain detail on the Wat is beautiful.

A visit to Bangkok would not be complete without a trip on the river. It gives you a different perspective of the city. I especially enjoyed the canals off the river, where people live right on the waters edge. Very serene and peaceful, nice break from the chaotic traffic in Bangkok.
