It's Greek to Me...: Excellent Greek Food

This is one of my favorite greek restaurants in the Twin Cities Area. It is almost always busy and there is a good mix of food on the menu.

The food has never been disappointing, and rumor has it that the families that run it have come from Greece and plan on returning after they have made their money, and in turn will sell it to another Greek family wishing to do the same.

Favorite Dish: Gyros of course, and for appetizer the Saganaki (the flaming cheese).

Caravan Serai: Middle Eastern Food (Afghani)

Very interesting atmosphere and good food. All tables are set in the traditional way with floor pillows and diners sitting on the floor.

Not all the food on the menu is Afghani to appeal to the tastes of all diners.

On my last visit there they had a belly dancer in the main dining area for entertainment. The ceiling is draped with cloth to give the feeling of being in a large tent.

Excellent food, not too overwhelming to have a decent conversation. Casual Dress is perfectly fine, and they have thier own parking lot.

Highland Grill: A local favorite.

It's too hard to classify what all they have, but it is a funky comfortable diner that has a lot of local traffic. The ingrediants are very fresh and most of the food is made from scratch. There are more details on the website.
