Something about my nickname "Zajem".

Many of people at the Euromeet in Krakow last year asked me, what exactly my nickname contained of.
As everybody here I like travelling. That is the reason I wanted to create some external web pages, where I could write anything about my travels and "the projects" I made or prepare for the future, so I started to think of founding the name for my non-profit and no-official travel agency ZAJezdy EMan (Trips Eman or Eman's Trips) as practical jokes. Just only for fun.
I don't update my external website anymore but left my nickname for using it on here.
The word "zajem" is a Czech word, too. It means "an interest" in English, so my nickname fits very well for both meanings.

I live in the town of Rychvald (about 17 km2 and almost 7 000 citizens) next to Ostrava which lays 270 km (by air) or 358 km by train east of Praha / Prague and only 8 km from the Czech-Polish border.

I have almost been to all countries here in Europe and made many travels as sightseeing tours with travel agencies.

In 1985, as a child, I've been with my sister and parents by our car to Podgora, Split, Zadar now in Croatia, Mostar now in BiH.

Next year or two years later, unfortunatelly, I can't remember exactly, with my sister and other children had 2-week holidays in Odessa, former SU, now Ukraine.

1995 - one sightseeing tour through the Scandinavian places Copenhagen,DK - Oslo, Bergen, Lillehammer, NO - Stockholm, SE and started to pick up the coins for remembrance of visited countries since then.

1996 - Salzburg, Innsbruck, AT, Vaduz, Luzern, Geneve CH, Avignon, Grenoble FR, Andorra, Barcelona SP, Marseille FR, Monaco, Verona IT

1997 - Luzern CH, Paris FR, Nuernberg DE.

2000 - Crete Island, GR.

2001 - BENELUX - Luxembourg, Brussels, Antwerp, Amsterdam, The Hague, Saanze Schans, Alkmaar.

2006 - Munich DE was the first trip on my own by train.

Poland many times, mainly some meetings with Polish fans of Swedish band ROXETTE, I also was a fan when being younger. I attended their three meetings in various places.

2007- London, UK - taking three-week English language lesson "OUT THERE".

Where to go this year? It won't be that busy travelling abroad for me like in 2011. I want to spend it mostly in the Czech Republic. I'll spend my main holidays in the end of July and some more days in August on some places back in Ireland like Dubin, Glendalough, Killkenny, Cliffs of Moher, Cork.
